Ok. This is a new one for this area, and quite different from all stories of similar nature that I've been able to find. Has anyone ever encountered a black eyed man in Cleveland? I mean all black. Whites of eyes and all. The man usually wears sunglasses, and hangs out at local West side bars. I met him at the bar I worked at, about a dozen of times, only the last time I seen him was when he finally showed me his eyes!!!! Like all the stories I've read on the Internet, every girl that worked there was completely creeped out by him, and uncomfortable. But I wasn't. It was the opposite. I was drawn to him. He was a very strange man, and we had some out of this world conversations. He wasn't good looking at all either. Walked hunched and funny, with a cane. But anyway, even still to this day I think about him a lot, and regret not hanging out with him. Wish I could find him. He had this strangeness to him, like he knew something we didn't. Something big. When I seen his eyes, I have to admit I was in shock. It was very scary. But things we talked about were weird, and it's like when you figure out the meaning of life, like everything makes sense, for only a moment, then it's gone! That was how everything was that we talked about. I'm sorry this is long and probably all over the place! But there's so much I have to this story, and bits and pieces come back as I write this! But please reply if you know of this man! All I seem to find is of black eyed kids, and overwhelming sense of dread when they are around.
Sincerely,
Ana C. From Cleveland.

From writer Charles Cassady
Although it is not a Cleveland subject matter, I have written another book containing many a creepy thing, PARANORMAL MISSISSIPPI RIVER. My longest work yet, more than 300 pages. So if one is buying ghost stories by weight, this makes the best deal yet.
You might want to at least feature the book trailer online because I feel it's quite amusing. And made entirely in a camera tower at Northfield Park harness track in between laps!

Introducing the Shadow Seekers
Hi my name is Tammie Mccourt and i am the founder of The Shadow Seekers, we are a small paranormal group based in Brunswick Ohio. We are just wanting to let people know that we exist. We are a small group of friends and family who have at one time in our lives had a paranormal experience that has peeked our curiosity. Me and my sister Me-Lang Clark used to live in a haunted house in Cleveland. It was located on west 58th and Wakefield right behind the Fir Avenue cemetery. I have posted a story on Creepy Cleveland before, and the story behind Fir Avenue cemetery is mine as well. We have experienced some very scary stuff growing up that we did not understand. Today we do local investigations around Ohio, so we can try to find some understanding and some answers. On August 7th we did an investigations at the infamous Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville Ky, yes i know it isnt in Cleveland but let me be the first to tell you this place was well worth the trip. I do have pics of places we investigated on some of our pages, we are relatively a new group so we do not yet have a website but our pics can be viewed on our personal pages. We just wanted to introduce ourselves, and we will be sending in stories of future investigations and submitting some pics. Thank You very much.

O.P.U.S.
Hey, this is Jen from O.P.U.S. We are going to do an investigation at
Gore Orphanage/Swift Mansion next week. We are also going to check
out that cemetery by Kmart in West Park tonight. Also, we have been
told our home is haunted and we will do a mini-investigation here. We
don't have much on our myspace or blog, but hopefully this will give
us a start. Let us know if you're interested in our findings.
Thanks for your time,
Jen Clark, Case Mgr.

Hail to the King, Baby.
I know this isn't Cleveland related, but I had to share.
Some friends of mine are traveling the New England states this week and are keeping in touch via email. Last night I got some photos of what they saw yesterday.
Stephen King's House. Awesome.
I'm a huge Stephen King fan and I'm amused to see that his house looks as normal as it does. Notice the front gate, however. The bats atop each fence post and the spiderweb designs in the grating. That's pretty cool.
I can't help thinking that Mr. King and his family have got to get pretty tired of tourists stopping outside his house and taking pictures all day long, but then I see the bats and I wonder if he doesn't think it's pretty cool being admired by so many.
Either way, I thought these pics were cool and I wanted to share. Thanks Terry!
